Planning and Scheduling

  • Develops the examination calendar, including dates for internal and external exams, practical , and evaluations.
  • Coordinates with academic departments to finalize exam schedules.

Question Paper Management

  • Ensures the preparation, moderation, and approval of question papers.
  • Maintains confidentiality and security in the printing, storage, and distribution of question papers.

Conduct of Examinations

  • Supervises the smooth execution of exams, including arrangements for seating, invigilation, and facilities.
  • Handles unforeseen issues such as student grievances, malpractice cases, or disruptions during exams.

Evaluation and Result Processing

  • Organizes the evaluation of answer scripts, ensuring accuracy and impartiality.
  • Oversees the timely tabulation and verification of marks.
  • Prepares and publishes results within the stipulated time frame.

Record Keeping

  • Maintains records of question papers, answer scripts, mark sheets, and other examination-related documents.
  • Ensures proper archiving for future reference and audits.

Liaison and Coordination

  • Acts as a bridge between academic departments, administration, and external bodies like accreditation agencies or examination boards.
  • Coordinates with external examiners, moderators, and evaluators when required.

Policy Implementation

  • Ensures adherence to examination policies, rules, and regulations as laid down by the institution or governing bodies.
  • Recommends updates to policies to improve the examination process.

Technology Integration

  • Implements and manages examination management systems (EMS) for online exams, result processing, and automated record-keeping.
  • Ensures the secure use of technology in examinations, including anti-cheating mechanisms for online assessments.

Handling Student Concerns

  • Addresses grievances related to results, re-evaluation requests, or examination misconduct cases.
  • Ensures transparency and fairness in dealing with student concerns.

Compliance and Reporting

  • Prepares reports on examination statistics, pass rates, and other relevant metrics.
  • Ensures compliance with regulations set by academic councils, accreditation bodies, or legal authorities and
